Poland – proposal of reduced VAT Rate for Beauty Industry from 23% to 8%

The Polish Prime Minister has announced that as from 1st April 2024, the VAT rate on services in the beauty industry will reduce from 23% to 8%.

Currently, the 8% VAT rate is applicable only to hairdressing services. Other services in this sector are subject to the standard VAT rate of 23%

The exact list of beauty services which will soon fall under the reduced VAT rate will be known when the draft of the new regulation is published
