Griechenland- Haushalt 2024 - Vorgeschlagene Änderungen der Mehrwertsteuer

Der griechische Haushalt für 2024 wurde dem Parlament am 21. November 2023 vorgelegt und enthielt die folgenden Änderungsvorschläge zur Mehrwertsteuer.

• The reduced VAT rate of 13% introduced on a temporary basis as part of relief measures during the COVID 19 pandemic for transportation, gyms, dance schools, cinemas, and various health related products will be made permanent.
• The reduced VAT rate of 13% will continue to apply to coffee and taxi services until 30th June 2024, after which it would revert to the standard VAT rate of 24%
• The VAT rate on non alcoholic drinks served (soft drinks) would be restored to the standard VAT rate of 24% from 1st January 2024.
