Polen - Vorschlag zur Verlängerung des Mehrwertsteuersatzes 0% auf Lebensmittel bis zum 30. Juni 2024.

The Polish Deputy Finance Minister has submitted a bill proposing that the 0% VAT rate on food be extended until 30th June 2024.

The 0% VAT rate on food was introduced in February 2022 as part of the government’s “Anti Inflation Shield” package. The 0% VAT rate was due to apply until 31st December 2023, however the Deputy Finance Minister has recently put forward a bill to extend the 0% VAT rate on food until 30th June 2024.
