VIDA deadline may be extended

The European Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs ( ECON) has on the 25th May proposed that the implementation date for all aspects of the ViDA proposal are extended by 1 year. ECON is an advisory board and its recommendations are not binding but, if approved, the implementation date for single VAT registration/platform economy provisions would move to 2026 and digital reporting/e-invoicing to 2029.
