Malta – Women’s sanitary products will be subject to a 0% VAT rate as of 1st January 2025.

The Maltese Minister of Finance has presented the 2025 budget, announcing that women’s sanitary products will be subject to a 0% VAT rate starting from 1st January 2025.

The 0% VAT rate will also be extended to medical accessories used in the treatment of cancers affecting women.
